I saw Gills poppy badges in the club shop last home game. I can’t recall if they had 2019 on them or not.

I think the year marking is to encourage you to purchase new every year, and not to keep using previous years poppies.

Not sure what gills has got to do with our commemoration of those who died in previous wars.

They are two seperate events/entities imo. It seems quite odd to combine them.

Always do 2 or 3 times in poppy donation boxes each year Wayne, regardless whether I've already got a poppy.

I can spot the poppy donation boxes a mile off with my superior eyesight.

Great - a bit like me. I can't pass a box without dropping money in.

On Monday, I bought a poppy in Morrisons; yesterday [different jacket] I bought a poppy in Booths [northern supermarket chain] and the guy said I'll be in Tesco tomorrow. He wasn't wasn't wearing a hat on Monday.
