You just hope he knows pukki is back for next match otherwise that was a risky move playing hugill.

If he doesnt play Hugill he would get criticised for not trying to beat Barnsley.

YB 's post said about playing Hugill knowing him to be only fit senior striker.
That was his point about DF being at fault for risking Hugill in a cup game if Pukki is not fit for next league game

That is the problem with playing cup games. It's alright for those teams with two teams of fit players but, if you are using key players from your league first team, there is a risk that an injury will compromise league performance.

People (Butler?) who are pushing for a lengthy cup run don't take that (no not the dreadful boy band) into account.

If we had won, there would have been the prospect of a tough game in the next round with the chance of further injury/ies. In that respect, I am glad we lost.
