Ex Player watch

OnLoanfromEnfield

Vital 1st Team Regular
I have seen this on other forums and wondered why we do not have one here. The amount of ex Wigan players is increasing weekly and some of the current crop appear to want to play for their new clubs.
Any chance of it being a sticky ?

Here is one to start the ball rolling.

Ivan Ramis was released / terminated his contract with Levante and has now signed with La Liga club SD Eibar.

Hull City have signed former Latics defender Ryan Taylor on a free transfer (and Chesterfield midfielder Sam Clucas for a reported £1.3m)

Slightly different but over in the USA Shaun Maloney is back from injury and scored on his return, few days ago Espinoza also supposedly punched one of Owen Coyle's players..

Not sure if i should put his here but i will do it anyway.

Rogne did a interview with Swedish paper Expressen and said this about his final months with Wigan:

- When i came back from the vacation i immediately felt that i was done here, you just feel it. You get frozen out, they dont talk to you or even say hello.
- It was the same manager who six weeks earlier said that if i came back fit i would play but then they didnt want to look at me.
- But its the way it works over there, we had six central defenders who all felt they should start. Two might start, maybe two on the bench and the other are frozen out, i was one who was frozen out.
- It was tough, i had seen it happen to former teammates and thought "how the hell can this happen?"
I realized that i couldnt do much and called my agent and said "get me out of here"

I havent followed his team closely but they are top of the league and only let in 10 goals in 17 games.
Rogne has done well and only missed three league games so far.

Might be a bit out of date now ... but Marc-Antoine Fortuné was training with French Ligue 1 side Gazélec Ajaccio from Corsica.

After this past year, there's quite a few names that can join the coveted 'worst buys' list. Move over, Marlon King!

*cough* Leon *cough* Clarke ....

"The first notable chance of the second-half wasn’t until well after the hour mark when Leon Clarke equalised for the Shakers (66th minute) – a typical striker/poachers goal, pouncing on a pass in the box, sliding home the effort past the keeper."
.............
"Seconds later and Danny Nardiello made an appearance for Leon Clarke, who got a standing ovation."

ALCARAZ JOINS LAS PALMAS

La Liga newcomers Las Palmas have signed Paraguay international defender Antolin Alcaraz.

Alcaraz was available on a free after his contract with Everton ran out at the end of last season following two years at Goodison Park.

The 33-year-old, who has won 24 caps for his country, has agreed a one-year deal with Las Palmas with the option of another on top of that, the Canary Islands club announced in a statement on their website.
