Reading sack McDermott.

Really don't get the logic. Ok they look like going down, but surely they had to expect that?

So Saints & Reading have now sacked mid-season.

Does show how stupid the Premier League pressure is.

Let's hope the PST management look for long-term results & avoid knee-jerk rubbish like this.

lets hope they stick by the people that have stuck to us in these hard times.
I woul give guy a go for next season at least and there other that are with him

Its all about next season and the new tv monies, the team in last place next season gets £60m more than Citeh got for winning it last season, its survival at all costs and promotion sod the expense, prem will soon be a closed shop.

very strange descision and one that i am far from convinced will work in their favour?

from manager of the month not too long ago to unemployed...

as for us, lets see how the season pans out but i had been of the opinion that guy and andy should return to their day jobs this summer as i feared they would get the job and end up being sacked at some point next season?

At this stage of the season, with say 9 games left and the same personnel to chose from, don't see what a new man can do personally, but there we are. Can't stand Reading anyway so couldn't really care less except to say he seemed to be a very well liked manager with both fans and players alike!

Mr. Madejsky built their new stadium, and ran the club well. Now he has sold it to a foreigner they seem to be catching the Pompey owners bug of complete stupidness. RFC have my sympathy. :39:
