Brentford v Swans

Hard to call this one as both teams are in poor form.
Having said that, Brentford earned a creditable draw at West Brom last night, with a 91st minute equaliser, which was more than what we could manage against them last week.
Doubts about James playing as he’s booked in for a scan on his hamstring injury after limping off against Derby.
Bony, who was “rested” for the Derby match, should play some part next Saturday., together with Montero, who is fit again for the time being.
Olsson, surprisingly an unused sub last game, should return to replace Declan John, who was very rusty and is turning out to be a poor signing so far.

Hope we can get something here after losing 3 on the bounce. Defence needs to get back to looking gsolid after leaking goals of late. Hope James is fit as he's our biggest threat at the moment

Dan James out for tomorrow with a hamstring injury from the Derby match and probably out for the next few weeks.
Tom Carroll still out with groin/hip injury from the Blackburn game
Bony raring to go after being rested for the last match.
Hoping for a win after three straight defeats.
See you there.

Another away day and a chance to stop the run of defeats that’s drained the players confidence. A pleasant surprise, plenty of pubs around the ground with every one of them welcoming away fans. We chose The Griffin and it was packed out and spilling onto the street with Jacks and Bees alike, what a friendly place with both fans mixing well.
Pie and chips were downed at the local Asian chippy, and one of the guys behind the counter greeted us with snippets of Welsh “bore da, shwmae, diolch yn fawr”, then rattled off the names of all our players, from last and this season, it turned out he was a big Swans fan!
Time for the match, and the ground was so small and no alcohol served.
We were in the upper stand and the seating was so close together that it was impossible to sit down (downstairs was all standing).
The match started and we were in shock after 25 secs when Routledge netted for the first goal. Not only that, we scored another two within the first half an hour to go 0-3 up with an own goal through Mepham on 22 and one from Fer on 27.
We took our foot off the gas and Brentford came back into the game and scored just before half time through Watkins, game on.
Second half we had some missed chances then Brentford scored a second through danger man Benhrama on 69 minutes, and what we thought was going to be an easy victory turned into a very nervous last 25 minutes as Brentford threw everything at us. We hung on though to get a welcome 3 points, but it was a close run thing at the end.

There were six changes from last week - Dyer and Routledge made a welcome return, Naughton, Olsson, McKay and Fer also started.
Olsson stretchered off with a suspected achilles injury after 9 mins play, Roberts replacing him.
Bony and Montero unused subs.

Swansea City fear Martin Olsson may have suffered a significant injury after the left-back was stretchered off at Brentford.
Graham Potter -
“It doesn’t look a good one with Martin. It looks like the Achilles area, but we will have to get it scanned and then see exactly what the problem is.”
