Yes personally I preferred Dempsey in his role, I think Thompson was only really good in 2-3 games for us and average 6/10 performances in the rest of the matches (which was still above the likes of Olly Lee).

We don't need to damn him with faint praise. He's very good at League One level, which is why one of the clubs likely to challenge has signed him. I never expected him to msign for us but he would have been truly ouitstanding at our current level. He deserves any luck he gets, he's a grafter too.
