"For Imps fans making early plans for the trip to Doncaster Rovers on Saturday, 24th August, please be aware that Network Rail are carrying out major improvement work on the East Coast Mainline over the August Bank Holiday Weekend; Saturday 24th, Sunday 25th and Monday 26th August.

The route operates from London King's Cross towards Grantham, Peterborough, Lincoln, Newcastle, York and the east coast of Scotland.

For supporters making their way north into Lincolnshire and into Yorkshire, on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th August, the line will be closed between Peterborough and London and no trains will be able to run in either direction."

Isn't there a direct Lincoln - Doncaster service that avoids the ECML?

It's already scuppered my plan. £100 train and a three hour trip with at least two connections/replacement bus. Thanks, but no.
