If he’s half as good as you lot say Jones has been then he’ll do well.
This also ticks one of 2 boxes SE said he wanted covered. And sounds versatile playing Left Back, Left mid or Left side centre half.

No five is the maximum. If Bonham got a long term injury we are likely to have to consider bringing in a keeper.So one of the current loan players would have to drop out of the squad unless of course one is made permanent.This may of course mean bringing in another striker on loan now looks unlikely.It makes it more likely Evans will have to stick to permanent deals only .Unless he was going to rotate or freeze out a loan player.
Also possible that the striker is not going to be possible within budget.After all there is no point in bringing in a player who is not at least going to be as good or better than we have.And Evans did say that he was going for 1 to 2 more players recently.
