With no NCFC games for a while hope this is relevant to City Talk and maybe how any City players do when representing their countries at various levels.

Probably the best available ( except Welbeck ) and does give youth a chance BUT
they are miles off the class of other major footballing countries.

Arsenal: Danny Welbeck.

Burnley: Nick Pope.

Chelsea: Gary Cahill.

Crystal Palace: Ruben Loftus-Cheek (on a season-long loan deal from Chelsea).

Everton: Jordan Pickford

Leicester: Harry Maguire, Jamie Vardy.

Liverpool: Trent Alexander-Arnold, Jordan Henderson

Manchester City: Fabian Delph, Raheem Sterling, John Stones, Kyle Walker

Manchester United: Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Marcus Rashford, Ashley Young

Stoke: Jack Butland.

Tottenham: Dele Alli, Eric Dier, Harry Kane, Danny Rose, Kieran Trippier.

Phil Jones is a bloody joke. Also on standby we have no forwards so if Kane - Vardy or Rashford get injured we are not replacing them.

Welbeck another I just don't rate.

I have to say that Gareth Southgate comes across pretty well when talking to the media. With the failures in previous tournaments, I don’t mind giving youth a go...

Probably going to be the same as every other World Cup or Euros for us...So much hope only to be left feeling completely dejected, for what ever reasons we simply dont have the ability to progress far enough in the tournament...dont get me wrong I pray for us to do well and of course to win it would be dreams come true...lets just wait and see...Hope for the best...prepare for the worst!

Totally agree FFL.
I will have my chart ready and as I work from home watch every game
( except for day I am at England v Oz one day international ).
I always hope but we are always outclassed.
Maybe it will be different this time !

I was at this particular gig and it was unashamed patriotism summed up by Rottens opening words.
This is the way we should get behind our football team.
