Some selected games here from teams which no longer ply their trade in the football league.

Finished off with the play-offs v Barnet and some talk from King Billy in the Wembley dressing room having taken us up via the play-offs.

First up a first defeat of the season 1-0 away at York City.

A top of the table clash saw Pool lose to Barnet 3-0 with the actions of Mr Fry and the met police sparking some ugly memories of that day. A young Gary Bull playing for Barnet.

Maidstone United away 4 Jan 1992 0-0.

Hereford away and a 2-1 win with 2 goals from Dave Bamber

Wrexham away and a 1-1 draw in Feb 92. The Pool goal coming from an ooohh Andy Garner pen following Dave Bamber being tripped in the box.

Pool beat Halifax Town 2-1 at the Shay with our goals coming from Dave Bamber and Tony Rodwell.

Scarborough away in March 92 and Pool come from behind to win 1-2 with goals from David Eyres (judas) and Dave Bamber.

Playoffs that year saw us beating Barnet 2-1 on aggregate.
Watch King Billy pump up the South at the start of the 2nd leg.
