10 Years Ago Today...

The 5-1 at Grimsby. I seem to recall him coming on and his first involvement, within minutes, was to scrape his studs down the knee of one of their players challenging for a bouncing ball.

Then in his home debut, he misplaced two or three identical passes in the opening 10 minutes or so and the second and third time he did it, there were boos.
 
I remember him as a player I would have liked to sign but as was already playing in a higher league thought unlikely
