Historically we have sold our better players for a good price, so I can't see this being true. Although I'm sure the majority would prefer a different way of trading players, i.e. not to trade them, we do tend to get reasonable fees for them.

I am surprised we have managed to get Mitrovic, he sounds like a good signing for anyone else so on paper I'm reasonably happy with it. I'm more weary about how our defensive frailties will get corrected, given that there seems to be a missing generation of competent, affordable defenders.

We're about a team away from a decent season :)
