Reading tickets

Tickets are available on the day according to Reading FC. Obtain from the away ticket booth at the South Stand, where the away supporters are housed.

Normal away allocation is circa 2,300, although over 4,000 can be accommodated.

Parking costs £5-10 on various industrial locations near the ground. Do not park in the retail areas, fines are extraordinary. Warning: it can take 30-45 mins on match day to get from M4 J11 to the ground, allowing for queuing and getting a car park space.
 
Tis for one of those awful middle of nowhere plastic stadiums.
Pre-poured beer last time I went with a plastic cover on the top.
 
Please be aware that ASLEF still have strike action tomorrow on both LNER and GWR - careful transport planning advised and the traffic to the stadium might be even more trying than usual.
 
There are a couple of park & ride places apparently - we're heading for one just south of the M4 on the Basingstoke Road

No local pubs, so it will be plastic beer for us

It's a lovely stadium and variety is what makes our football league great. I don't go for what's around it (we always find a nice pub even if it's a 15 minute drive away) but the footy and the stadium inside.

It's a massive upgrade on Elm Park which was well passed its sell by date.
