League One Match Thread (12/03/24 - 13/03/24)

World's smallest violin 🎻, currently being played
If only they had a bigger budget they could have spent more on the appeal, bless

Ironic though that this also punishes Posh the team the offence was carried out against. He now misses the Bolton game a game Posh would obviously like Stevenage to win.

Stevenage fans moaning about the game being televised, think they would have got away with it otherwise. Probably true.

Even higher level of stupidity from the player given how many cameras there were.

Zero excuses for that sort of behaviour and Stevenage appealing the length of the ban is shameful, should be extending anything.

If the match officials had seen it, red card and 3 match ban for violent conduct.

Every EFL match is videoed and theres usually numerous unofficial feeds (Inside Imps etc) so the likelihood these days of anything off the ball not being picked is remote.

So the appeal for "excessive" punishment of a 3 match ban was taking the piss, and the only criticism can be that the ban wasnt increased as a result.

Odious club, odious manager.
