.........................

Jensen - 7 - There when needed.
Sorensen - 8 - What can I say. Started to be a player. Contract extension please....
Mitchell - 7 - Solid, assured and confident.
O'Connor - 7 - Same as above
Roughan - 8 - Very very good.
Hackett - 8 - Well taken goal and good performance
Erhahon - 8 - Class
McGrandles - 8 - Vital part of a very good midfield
Bishop - 8 - Another great game
House - 7 - As always very good without the ball.
Taylor - 6.5 - Great assist for Reeco's goal and not much more. His speed can be lethal. Good loan.

Jensen 6.5 Barely troubled so can't really mark him high except one great catch from a corner when surrounded by what seemed to be every outfield player allows me to go slightly above par.

Sorensen 8.5 Cross or shot?? Who cares. Great performance
Mitchell 7 Rock solid against a powder puff attack
O'Connor 7 see Mitchell
Roughan 8 As the others at the back but gets extra for pushing it to right to the end with some challenges and play other defenders at 3-0 up with only minutes to play wouldn't have. Lots to like
Hackett 8.5 Some sublime touches and a howitzer of a goal

Erhahon 8 Just makes the game look so simple. I think we might have to make the most of him while we can as we'll get a seven figure offer for him in the summer
McGrandles 8 And when we do we must re-sign Connor on a permanent deal. Exceptional player. Some terrific through balls mainly for Lasse.
Bishop 8 Seeing the real Ted now in a team who wants to play how he wants to play.

House 7.5 Typical House performance. Chasing, harassing and being a general pain in the arse for their defence
Taylor 7 Worked hard and gets an extra mark for the back heel assist for Reeco's goal which if done in the Premiershit would have been shown on repeat by Sky

Jensen - 8 - Solid but not overly worked

Sorensen - 9 - I’m not having him meaning that (Sky report calling it a goal of the season contender). However, he was brilliant, like having a solid full back and an attacking winger in one player.

Mitchell - 8 - Dominant and unfussy, composed in possession. Surely getting a chance in the Championship or someone like Derby if they don’t go up.

O'Connor - 8.5 - Great level of physicality without the silly fouls. Looking better on the ball too.
Roughan - 9 - One of his best games in an Imps shirt. Tireless defending all over the pitch and much improved on the ball, playing in a settled position with Hackett consistently is doing wonders.

Hackett - 9 - One of the games where he looks as good as anyone in the league. Will be annoyed about the one he missed but one great finish and some great deliveries. A winger that scares defenders.

Erhahon - 9 - Back on top form, won’t have many games where he can dominate opposition midfielders as much but you can only tackle what’s in front of you and he did! Two or three excellent slide rule passes.

McGrandles - 8.5 - Proving to be a very astute signing, thought he did well at Vale without things coming off for him but it clicked tonight. Improves Erhahon.

Bishop - 8 - What’s happened to him? Looks so much stronger which vastly increases the threat his obvious talent offers.

House - 8.5 - Throwing up at the weekend but covered every blade of grass tonight. Can’t be a better presser in the league. Should have scored.

Taylor - 7.5 - Should have scored at least one but offers a threat always. His shots on the turn are almost always into the corner which will pick him up goals (denied by a block on the line and a good save today).

In attendance

Jensen - 6.5 not his fault he was underemployed
Sorensen - 9 quality to go with enterprise
Mitchell -7
O'Connor - 6.5
Roughan - 6.5
Hackett - 8.5
Erhahon - 8.5
McGrandles 7.5
Bishop - 8
House - 7.5
Taylor - 7

Terrific energy and intent from Moylan when he came on, signs there may be an end product coming.

Jensen 6.5- little to do but did it well
Sorensen 8 - constant outlet and some great touches including a fine left foot cross. Goal may have been a cross but put it in those areas and stuff can happen.
Mitchell 7 - solid
O'Connor 7 - ditto.
Roughan 8 - played a hybrid role to perfection, finding his best position and maturing into the player we hoped he'd become.
Hackett 8 - so-so first half but sensational second, capped by one hell of a finish.
Erhahon 8 - wins the ball, sees the angles, plays the pass, one taking out half the Shrews team.
McGrandles 8 - this midfield really works with Conor a key element. (Memo to Charlton - he's rubbish but we'll take him off your hands as a squad player.)
Bishop 8 - when Ted was involved, we purred.
House 7.5 - a key reason why the team's form has improved so much.
Taylor - 7 - kept buzzing and a well timed and angled run and backheel for the crucial second.

Shout out for all the subs who kept the intensity going - Moylan looks a prospect though his finishing needs work.

Brilliant performance (aided by Shrewsbury)

Jensen 6.5
Good handling from a few crosses but largely untroubled.

Sorensen 8
Brilliant attacking wise and defending.
Great cross for his goal !!

Mitchell 7
Not overly extended but did what he had to do well.

O'Connor 7
Just caught out the once with a heavy touch in the first half but was part of a solid 3 and played his part.

Roughan 7.5
A few wasteful balls first half down the line in general did well against who I thought was their best player.

Hackett 8
Quietish first half.
Much better second half and a great goal.

Erhahon 8
He's a classy player. Totally controlled the midfield, makes time and shields the ball well and used it very well tonight.

McGrandles 8
Watched him quite closely.
His work rate off the ball was unreal. Ran the midfield alongside Erhahon.

Bishop 8
Unrecognisable from the injury prone player he was just a short time ago. Now looks like and is playing like the quality player that was always inside him.

House 7.5
Worked relentlessly closing down. Probably the best player in the league at it. Should of been on the score sheet.

Taylor 7
Didn't quite go for him. Worked hard though and set up the second goal with a great back heel that finished them off.

Shout out to all the subs who came on who contributed in a continuation of what was a excellent squad performance on the night.

Jensen 7 not a lot to do. But kicking much improved. Has been a great signing.
You have to be an excellent goalkeeper in a defence that has only conceded 32 goals so far this season and i think 14 clean sheets?
Sorrensen 8 such energy and I also think it was a cross.
Mitchell 7 largely untroubled in another solid performance.
O'connor 7 as Mitchell
Roughan 8 great management by Skubala in the way he is using him in the team.
Now showing his full potential.
Hackett 8 average first half but explosive second half.
Erhahon 8 oozes quality in the middle of the park both defensively and offensively.
Mcgrandles 8 perfect foil for Erhahon work rate amazing. Hamilton has been one of our better players this season but has not been missed since Mcgrandles came into the side.
Bishop 8 lovely footballer who is at last proving to be robust as well.must be the most fouled player in our side.
House 8 I don't care which league you look at but haven't seen a better presser of the ball than him. His anticipation is amazing.
Taylor 8 best game in a Lincoln shirt. In combination with House hassled the life out of the Shrewsbury defence all night. And superb back heel for Hackett to score.
It's a great testament to the squad we have now that all the subs came on and performed really well and didn't detract from our momentum in the match.

Jensen 6.5 - Rarely called into action,
Sorensen 8 - They couldn’t cope with his powerful running, good crosses and a goal which made everyone smile..
Mitchell 7 - Untroubled, kept it simple, could have scored.
O'Connor 7 - One of the easiest games he has played in for City.
Roughan 7.5 - Another confident performance
Hackett 8 - Had them mesmerised at times, lovely goal.
Erhahon 8 - Bossed it for the entire game.
McGrandles 7.5 - Mr Cleanup, worked tirelessly.
Bishop 7.5 - Too good for them, could have had a hat trick.
House 7 - Never gave them time on the ball, fought for everything.
Taylor 7 - Played his part, quality assist.

Best all round team performance of the season - watched on iFollow

Taylor - 6.5 a lovely set for Reeco to score, looking nicely settled in the team now
