From being in the ground..

Jensen 7 Not a lot to do but a fantastic reaction save to push that shot onto the bar. Really needs to not try and put his kicks into orbit as the strikers have nothing to work with

Sorensen 6.5 Decent and full of energy
Mitchell 7 Very solid but their attacking threat was pretty dire
O'Connor 7 See Mitchell
Roughan 7 See Mitchell and O'Connor
Duffy 6.5 Worked hard and put a couple of decent balls in. Cracking volley attempt in the first half.

Erhahon 7 Started a bit slack but settled down into his game
Hamilton 6.5 Worked hard in several different positions
McGrandles 6.5 Very efficient performance. One exceptional slide pass to Sorensen during our better period of the game.

House 7.5 Duracell bunny performance epitomised by forcing them to give away a throw in late on by pressing the ball. Terrific
Taylor 7 Not involved that much but an excellent finish to open his account for us

Bishop 7.5 Game changer from the bench. He came on and we started to open up their defence. Fine assist for the winner

In attendance

Jensen - 7 not much to do but has to be marked up for that save
Sorensen - 6.5 rarely does less than above average
Mitchell - 6.5 solid
O'Connor - 6.5 ditto
Roughan - 6.5 good 1st half battle with the quick winger
Duffy - 6 did well enough, shattered when he came off
Erhahon - 7 vital cog, kept us glued together
Hamilton - 6.5 battled hard, some vicious set pieces
McGrandles 8 - before Bishop came on, virtually every bit of calm, classy, controlled and progressive play from us, came through McG. Not his fault that it kept breaking down ahead of him
House 7 - every opponent needs rear view mirrors
Taylor 6.5 - delighted for him. Very classy finish given he'd missed a few in other games and not got off for the mark for us. Sign of a decent striker

Bishop 7.5 - probably would have gone onto be MOTM for me if he'd played the full game. Was able to do the progressive stuff higher up the pitch than McG when he came on and changed the game. Looking a yard quicker and sharper?

Jensen 7- great reaction save, solid
Sorensen 7- always dangerous on the overlap ,all action
Mitchell 7- revved the crowd up all effort
O'Connor 8- best for a while, missed nothing
Roughan 8 - kept their tricky winger under control, not easy
Duffy 6- helped Roughan out limited his forward runs
Hamilton 7- better second half adjusted to the pace of the game
Erhahon 7- some great passes
McGrandles 7- more forward runs second half
House 8- closed their 5 down, forced their backs into errors
Taylor 7- took his goal well, play it on the deck to him more often !

Bishop 8 - quality, sees a pass and runs, good ball to Taylor for goal, unlucky not to score himself - new Contract ?

Jensen 7 one great save and looked soild but woeful kicking out.
Sorensen 6.5 all action as usual. But he just cannot pass the ball.
Mitchell 6.5 solid but woeful distribution
O'connor 7 won every header but distribution awful.
Roughan 7 up against their best player but coped pretty well.
Hamilton 6.5 worked hard but no end product
Erhahon 6.5 ditto Hamilton.
Mcgrandles 6.5 ditto Hamiton plus 2 awful corners.
House 8 their defenders are still looking over their shoulders now wondering if he is there. Immense work rate winning challenges just outside his own box later on in the game as well.
Taylor 7 really took his goal well and showed what he can do if given the right service. Starved of decent passes until Bishop came on.
Bishop 8 best substitute performance I have seen for a long time. We were crying out for a bit of quality and he provided it. Showed how dangerous he is by the number of times Exeter had to bring him down. Probably was fouled more than any other player but only on the pitch for relative short time.

Watched live.

Jensen 6.5
Not a lot to do but an excellent reactionary save to divert the ball on to the bar from a very powerful shot from close range.

Sorensen 6.5
Full of energy down the right hand side.
Made some good runs and got some decent balls in the box.

Mitchell 6
Solid at the back. Not a lot got past him.

O'Connor 7
Took a nasty blow to the face but won everything and shirked nothing aerially after that and the most I've seen him talking and rallying the other defenders especially Mitchell.

Roughan 6
Had the very tricky and pacy Chelsea loanee winger down his side. Couldn't believe it when they took him off especially when they were chasing a goal. Not just Roughan but we do need to improve our distribution from the back. A lot seemed to be aimlessly banged long yesterday.

Duffy 5.5
This role doesn't suit him at all. Had the Exeter winger to contend with but showed nothing going forward. I'm not getting what he is about because he doesn't have blistering pace and he doesn't take people on. Could of been that the majority of our attacks were down the right but he needs to impose himself a lot more on games when he gets an opportunity. Still young and gaining experience but is probably another one who would of benifitted more by having a loan spell at a decent league 2 club.

Hamilton 6.5
This sums him up. He took a corner second half which was headed away out of the 18 yard box and Exeter broke away down the right hand side our left. I watched him and he sprinted at full tilt from the corner to just around the area of their bench to get back and at full speed one of their players took him out by obstructing him, which obviously Hamilton didn't take to kindly to but the ref didn't see it. That's what he is about.
Can get around all areas of the pitch and I think there is more to come from him when the team is a bit more free flowing.

Erhahon 6.5
Never panics when he receives the ball even in tight situations. Plays his role well and is a pretty consistent performer in what he does.

McGrandles 6.5
Composed in his play, doesn't give the ball away. Settling back in well.

House 7
Typical House display. Worked hard off the ball.
Didn't let defenders settle and had a good effort well saved by their keeper second half.

Taylor 6
Took his goal really well from a great touch from Bishop to put him on goal. Apart from that he was starved of any quality service for most of the game and will win nothing aerially so balls banged up high to him or House for that matter are a waste. He needs balls threading in for him on the deck and to be on the shoulder of the defender where he can use his pace as he did for his goal yesterday.

Bishop 6.5
Exellent cameo role. Came on and really influenced the game with an assist for the winning goal. Quality player when he's fit.

I've marked slightly down just because it was a bit disappointing that we didn't create an awful lot, especially first half. Got the 3 points in the end though, which is the most important thing.

Jensen. 7.
Top class instinctive reaction save to keep a clean sheet and nothing else to do except to hoof it aimlessly upfield.

Sorensen. 6.
Copy and paste for most games this season, energy and stamina of Forest Gump, Moments of real quality but moments of wastefull schoolboy carelessness.

Mitchel. 6.
Defended with such determination and commitment but needs to improve technical ability on the ball to play higher than this level. Copy and paste.

O Connor 6.
As above.

Roughan. 6.
Had his hands full with Rankine but just about contained the threat. Has the ability to pass forward better but seems so complacement and careless at times

Duffy. 6.
Got caught up in the general pass back and sideways to keep negative possession instead of thinking positively in trying to make inroads. Shoukd take note of Reeco when he plays that position.

Erhahon. 6. In control of his patch but no real threat from a static Exeter midfield.

McGranny. 6.
As above

Hamilton 5.5.
Bypassed for most of the game and no stand out moments. Struggled trying to play as the most offensive of the midfield three,

House. 6
Harried, hassled and lived of scraps for the most part. Brought a good save from their gk from the Sorensen pull back cross.

Taylor 6.5.
Same as House but but bonus of match winning goal with great technique and composure for a lovely dink finish after putting the keeper on the floor.

Bishop 8.
Top class match changing performance. One assist, Moylan messed up another great through ball and he could have scored himself with a self made opportunity.
Get this man a contract offer please

Jensen 7 Terrific reaction save helped us towards three points.

Sorensen 7 Our main attacking threat again, and put some decent crosses in for a change.
Mitchell 7 Solid defensively, but poor distribution with too many long balls.
O'Connor 7 As above
Roughan 7 As above
Duffy 6 A bit disappointing. There is a player in there, but its not coming out as quick as I thought it might

Erhahon 7 All three midfielders did their job without seeing as much of the ball as they should have.
Hamilton 7 As above
McGrandles As above

House 8 With the amount of long balls pumped up front, Ben made the difference. Won many of them and harried when he didn't. If Makama wants to play at this level, he should model his play on House.
Taylor 7.5 An extra half point for his goal. Really struggled to get in the game apart from that. He is a through-ball striker. Not one who sniffs out six yard box chances or gets on the end of crosses.

Bishop 7.5 Made a big difference when he came on. , but if he had started he would probably have been subbed after 60 - and therefore not have been there to create the goal. Starter or impact sub? Still up in the air for me.

At the game

Jensen - 6.5 a pretty straight forward game one great save
Sorensen - 6 standard, up and down, some good balls in some not so good
Mitchell - 6 Always defends well, always lets himself down a bit with his passing
O'Connor - 7.5 A really strong showing, superb in the air
Roughan - 7 thought he did really well against their best player
Duffy - 5.5 got done a couple of times, did OK
Erhahon - 7 he just keeps on doing what he does so important to this team
Hamilton - 6.5 works tirelessly, needs to have a bit more composure at times
McGrandles 7.5 wasn't a fan of him resigning but he showed again Saturday why it was such a good decision
House 7 - he must be a nightmare to play against, if only him and Reeco.......
Taylor 6.5 found his performance irritating again but then he popped up with such a cool finish. Hopefully that was the moment that kicks him into top gear.

Bishop 7.5 - Can someone who plays for 1/2 hour get MOM? he certainly gave it a go. Was a massive catalyst he was on this bore draw, that little bit of composure and skill that sent us all away happy again!!
