Yes it’s different since the first ever pitch at the dw. The first was a desso hybrid this is the first time we have had one since but the technology has moved on a lot since. Fingers crossed for a brilliant playing surface next season

The top will be planted on top of that rootzone/sand mix then stitched with enforcing yarn/fibres every 20-40mm or so. In theory making the pitch more capable to withstand heavy usage and giving the pitch that "greener" look all year round. With this sun we are getting at the moment and...
