Just about deserved it, but it was a hard slog. Exeter were on a decent run, so a tough game was probably expected.

FT. One chance - superbly taken by Taylor - great to see him off the mark . Really scrappy game but the lads did enough - just. Not at their best today but they just about did enough to win. Exeter were not impressive at all and if they had got anything out of this game it would have been an injustice. The ref - what on earth happened to him in the last 10 minutes? He just switched off to everything Exeter got up to. As for the Moylan chance, why didn’t he give a FK and book McSweeney (& send him off for the second yellow) - failing that he should have booked Moylan for simulation. He did neither, and then provided to ignore every FK claim Lincoln had. Idiot .
