Always wary when you have to pay to read the report of his injury and no hard evidence - two games out but…………. Let’s hope it’s more sensational reporting - we deserve some luck with these injuries

Hopefully it’s bruising at worst. As long as it’s not ligament damage or a kneecap issue he’ll be alright.

My initial text to my lad when it happened and looking at him on the ground was "he's done his knee" It looked out of place to me. Ironically trying to score another goal that the rest didn't seem bothered about getting.
We'll sink faster than the Titanic with Cash and Carlos on that side.

Suppose it could have been worse. Should only miss 3-4 games.

DC and Lenglet should be fine. It’s not like we're relying Lescott and Richards. Hopefully Pau makes it back for the United game.

Just 5 years ago Carlos and Lenglet were 2 of the best CB's in La Liga, and we had James Chester and Axel Tuanzebe in defence.

It shows how far we've come that we're now moaning about having them 2 in our starting XI.

If the season unravels because Ezri Konsa is out for a few weeks then something is very wrong.

He's been great this season, but we'll cope, especially as Pau is nearly back.

Which is why it's so disappointing to read some of the OTT reaction to the Newcastle defeat. The bigger picture is not something that goes with modern football.
