We played ok but Man City are just too high quality for us. Could have snuck a goal and a draw but wasn’t to be. Hopefully we can take some confidence despite the loss into the next game which is probably more important

Don’t think the sub of bringing on Chucky worked. Ramsay might have been a better choice or Sanson earlier.

I agree. Good to give him minutes and he did produce some great play/Get into some very Good positions, but didn't offer a great deal of bread and butter play

3 games in for Gerrard, he's changed things for the better. We lost but we put the effort in . good 2nd half. things are looking up.

Well despite the final score if people can't take any positives from that 2nd half performance I don't know what will please you ( apart from an equaliser) plenty of effort, grit,determination and some good football thrown in as well.
And, tho it pains me to say it,I think the ref had a good game.
Overall more positives than negatives, bring on Leicester

Second half, we gave it some, and showed much better, so he'll be happy with the second half showing. He'll get them into shape soon enough I'm sure.

That second half beats alot of teams.
We can’t be to harsh, great response and no loss of momentum in my opinion.

Extremely proud of our team tonight. Gave it their all. Lots of improvement needed yet deserved at least a draw. As we continue to develop our style of play we will get better. Just shown glimpses of it so far and yet gave the champions a run for their money !

We were our own worst enemies in the first half trying to play out of our own box when at the times we should have been just booting away, a lot of the time we were just encouraging pressure back onto us over and over again.

Doing a lot very well. Winning a lot of challenges in the second half. We're some way off City but you could say we're a good PL team. Ollie's goal will do him the world of good. Need a bit more bite in attack though.

Fuck it!!! So frustrating. Decent performance, particularly 2nd half. Luiz was terrific. Young, Benduia, Watkins, Nakamba and Mings all put in a real solid shift. Overall City probably deserved the win but we so nearly got something out of it.

Gutted in the end, I think we deserved something.

Ollie back on form, Luiz and Nakamba great, and Buendias best game by a mile. Sanson looks quality too if he can just stay fit.

Onwards and upwards, we should fear no one.
