F*cking joke that Kane is compared to Lineker, Charlton or Greaves. Bullies a bunch of part timers and treated as a God ffs

Charlton got 3 of his goals in a 9-0 win over Luxembourg.

Greaves also scored 3 of his goals in an 8-0 win over Luxembourg.

What's your point apart from wanting to pour negativity over a positive result?

I wonder if back then England fans were stupid enough to castigate them as not being as good as those that came before them?

Always been meaningless internationals and unfortunately there always will be. Just be thankful there aren’t as many friendlies.

Fully agreed. But that's not the England players fault is it?

Job done. Well done boys, onto the world cup.

Criticism after a 10nil win. Really? I don't care who the opposition are it's just daft.

You know what you guys and Michael Owen sound like? The greedy premier league clubs who wanted to break away and form a super league.

Lets sod the smaller clubs / smaller nations. Let's make football just about the big clubs and big countries.

Might as well stop non league teams entering the FA Cup while we're at it.

Bloody ridiculous!

It serves no purpose to anyone that they get dicked every game . Doesn’t do them any good, doesn’t do the ‘bigger’ team any good.

Teams like San Marino or Andorra do not qualify and never have. They have zero chance in a league format to get the required results to qualify . It’s pointless. Not about making them excluded .They need a their own ’smaller’ nations competition. You never know they might develop better this way and be in position to compete more rather than this farce.

Poor comparison when you talk non-league teams in one off cup game where there is clear precedence of them winning occasionally. But of course that is mainly nowadays down to the bigger team chucking a ‘weakened’ team out. Ever known a full international side purposely weaken themselves to the extent a premier league cup side change a full 11 in an early round cup game.

I reckon you could easily go down to an u18 England side beating San Marino easily. And would be lower if not for the physical side of things.

It's not the point though. Those San Marino players have earnt the right to play against England by working hard to be the best footballers in their nation and you want to take that away from them and tell them they can only play against Andorra and Faroe Islands for the next 20 years?

It's not just about the result. I bet even after a 10-0 defeat that was the proudest moment of a lot of their lives.

Having a load of semi pros lining up against top tier nations is a nonsense, football isn't there to allow players to be proud for losing 10-0. IMO there needs to be less international football and the nations recognised by FIFA ought to be cut.

The world cup and Euros were better when there were less teams in them. Shite nations have always been around but they're like the shite contestants that rock on Britain's Got Talent and get laughed off stage. Get rid of them.

Hypocrisy at its worst. In one breath shouting down the European Super League and then in the next trying to exclude weaker teams from an international sport.

The wealthier, more developed, larger nations don't own football. Get over it.

Everyone can play football, but 'countries' like San Marino shouldn't be competing at this level, all they do is gift teams 6 points whilst padding out goal differences. This isn't sport.

And if you think think this is comparable to the super league then you need to take a moment to think about the stupidity of that comparison.

Yes it is. Football is for everyone.

Who are you to tell a kid who was born in San Marino who has trained 6 days a week, 8 hours a day for his entire life to be one of the best players in his Country that he can never play against England or France or Germany....

You're effectively trying to kill the dreams of millions of kids.
