SB and EPC Pitches

That is quite revealing - especially this bit:

“Last year, with the rainfall we had, it was difficult to give the manager the pitch he wanted. He wanted to play quick, fast football but had a pitch which could only take 6mm of rainfall. Hopefully this year the pitch will be able to take up to 60mm of rainfall. Even if there was a bit of drizzle overnight, we knew the pitch was going to be flooded in the morning. A normal, up-to-date football pitch drains in a couple of hours but ours was taking four or five days to dry out."

Yeah, I was surprised at how little rain the pitch could take, not a wonder it was struggling with that much moisture in it.

Took this yesterday when I was there for a meeting:

After all of the temporary stand posts of the last three years, how long before people look to extend the St Andrews side - might work even if its not at full height, with a new roof on top.
Red seats in KK look so much better, hopefully they'll do the Selenity red throughout when they do the SW.

Wow, we really are investing in pitch technology for the next level. Judging by the last picture it seems to work pretty quickly on humans as well 🤔🤔🤣🤣

We could stick Regan Poole under it for a few days - he might be tall enough to score with some of those headers then.
