Can you recommend a removal company?

We used Foremans to move house 18 months ago. Competitive price, will offer a range of services from packing everything (you don't have to pack a thing) to just doing the graft bit. They had us out of our old house, half hour up the road and unloaded in our new house in 7 hours. Even took down and put up the beds in all bedrooms.

They were recommended to us by a friend and we have recommended them to several people since who were both happy with their service.

I used SW Leach chris.
They specialise in long distance and were absolutely faultless.
Maidstone based but go anywhere.
My move required an overnight for them but I still thought they were reasonable.
They were totally professional but with a great sense of humour.
I’d highly recommend if you’re going to Suffolk.
At least get a quote.

We used a firm last year called Bravo, based in Rainham. Excellent job, very professional, would recommend. Reasonable price too.

That was a company I looked at before I posted on here. Thanks again of all the reviews. I will start making enquiries as no moving date as yet.

One word of caution, Chris.

I would pick a removal firm that has a fleet of lorries/vans. The small time operator we used a few years ago was a disaster as his main vehicle broke down on the day of our move. You get what you pay for, I suppose.

We have only heard good things about Bray & Son in Maidstone so we will almost certainly use them if and when we finally move.

Moving today folks ."Wish me luck as you wave me goodbye "
Stay safe guys and girls and hopefully we can organize a meet up next season.I am looking forward to the summer that is going to be the easiest I will see the mighty Gills in the meantime I will get my football fix from a bit of very low non league stuff when it kicks off again.

Good luck Chris, hope the move works out for you 🙂

Bon Voyage, Chris, and good luck for the future.

Our own move to East Anglia is on extended hold due to the fact that cracks appeared in one of our exterior walls a month before we were going to put the house on the market and the insurance company has decided to "monitor" it until early next summer before repairing it. Cause is a combination of next door's massive oak tree and the fact that we are on weald clay which reacted badly to a very wet winter followed by a very dry summer.

I would be interested in which removal company you are using and how you will rate them. All the best.

He’s moving off today MoG. Original thread was from a few months ago.

Good luck Chris, hope the move works out well both today and long term.

Btw, everyone probably wants to know which removals you end up using 😊
Wxgill is watching closely 😁
Best of luck Chris 👍
