Match Thread: Cambridge United v Lincoln City

Well I actually think we played OK in that half.

I don't think we defended particularly well but we attacked with some method.

The goal came from a mistake by Bostwick in midfield but I reckon it wasn't a clean header, probably came off his shoulder as it wrong-footed Smith and trickled in.

Not too much cause for alarm yet.
 
I don’t like Andrade tactics

He does go down to easier

Perhaps instead of gobbing at the ref he should go and talk to the players.

You can see why he is marmite
 
Where has our control and passing gone? We had a fair bit of quality for the first half of the season, but for the last two games we seem to have lost a bit of control of games. Also not seen as many of our passes reaching their teammates for some reason. Very poor.
 
In DC/NC I trust but the squad is not big enough for this league, it's a tough season mentally and physically. Another 4 or 5 1st team quality players are needed which will create competition for places and cover for injuries. Obviously needs the funding from the board to do this'll.
 
Right OK my 1st half synopsis:
Playing at lot better than Boxing day.
Still top of the league by 1 pt.
Still in the the top three by 5 pts.
Still in the play off spot by 7 pts.
Although down by 1 goal:
We know DC can change games around.
We have not lost yet.
DC is still learning.
We cannot win all the games.
We can still be promoted.
Sorry for the people expect to win all the game all the time.
Hope they travelling support do enjoy a day out, and for 1,000 or so realise playing away is not the same as playing at home.

I have now finished building my Leggo Techniques model after 4 days.
 
We seem tired, very tired. Big problem is that the squad players aren't good enough and haven't really been contributing to playing time. First 11 are expected to play most of the minutes and they're knackered.

Good post sir, window nearly open, people need to chill and calm down.
 
Beginning to think the players have Everton on their minds. Only reason I can think they have played so badly against Crewe and so far today.
 
Like Crewe fans forum on Boxing day the CUFC board are saying this has been the best game they have played so far all season.
