You're right this is Chenini a small ancient town in the Tataouine district. Great scenery on the edge of the Sahara. It was blue skies throughout, and not too hot in late March.

True story. Couple of years ago I came around a corner of a very narrow country lane and on the floor was a Peregrine with a bird it had just hit. The said Peregrine sat there until it had devoured what it wanted of the unfortunate bird, before glancing in my direction, then flying off.
