Sometimes it instinctively feels best not to comment or make light. Been over 20 years since I worked there and I have to say I was a little taken aback by the decline in that time at those locations, of which I pretty much know most of them. On the plus side I do know the Yarborough Estate (a much smaller but intensely worse area than the Nunny) was basically razed to the ground and they started again.

Lincoln saved to a degree by the university developments or is that missing the mark? Other factors that have kept the city from falling into such widespread disrepair?

Tourism is the fall back on Lincoln but the university is a big factor. But there really aren’t many jobs in the region generally. I moved away 23 years ago for work and I don’t think much has changed

Possibly explains why, when they did that heat map of ST holder locations a few years ago, the numbers and range of locations was quite startling.
