GB News Launching

He resigned didn't he?

Depends who you believe. Officially he put out that he left due to 'artistic differences (jumped)', other reports were that he was trying to extend his contract with an extortionate pay rise and was told 'to do one (pushed) if he didn't like his existing terms'.

All amounts to the same thing - a bitter bunny.

Do you have a source for any of those reports (that aren't GBNews)?

The Guardian, but they aren't a reliable news source to be fair ;)

The reality, sources have told the Guardian, is that rather than merely being on holiday Neil was locked in an increasingly fierce legal battle with the channel’s bosses from mid-July, with the station in turmoil as their lead presenter attempted to renegotiate and then exit a four-year contract believed to worth about £700,000 a year.

Sounds like he maybe wanted more control/direction/pay and when he wasn't getting his own way he spat the dummy out and his relationship with Frangopoulos irreparably soured around that time. Obviously the story can be spun several ways, so depends who you believe but any way it all amounts to the same thing - a bitter bunny.
