I love him to bits, but I think his time at City has come to an end, his legs have gone.
 
Would prefer youngsters, the only way we will know , is if they are given a try.

If we had to buy, Spuds had a good option on the bench, Trippier or something.
 
I was very surprised that full backs didn't feature in the pre-season recruitment. I can only guess that they didn't want to change too much too soon. Zaba is a legend and one of my all time favourite City players but I too think that the full back positions will need some attention.
 
Seac is spot on. We need to invest in two powerful young bulls. That was clear today. Do we have anyone in the EDS?

Which leads me on to captaincy in another thread...

It does , but if and when he goes , he should be respected as one of the all time greats of the club.

I hope the club let him go on a free , so he will have some choice of where to go.

This is why I wanted him to move on in the summer.

I think he has just this season remaining on his contract so will be on a free.
