I'm really pleased for him. Especially after his 2 fairly disastrous loans last year. From getting benched by Cheltenham to our scoring Higuain in Miami. Not a bad turnaround.

Another very promising Aston Villa Academy graduate will now get a taste of real football as the club announced earlier today that youngster Arjan Raikhy will spend the remainder of the 2021/22 campaign out with National League side Stockport County.

I’ll be interested to see how Raikhy does at Stockport.I’ve been impressed with what I saw of him last season. A big dominant central midfielder, good in the tackle and a good passer of the ball. Sets the stage for the more creative players around him.

Not a bad afternoons work for the youngsters then. Really exciting as the cream of last seasons youth cup winning side are all out on loan so these boys are the new crop.

Seen a few people on twitter asking how young the Norwich team was as results like this shouldn't really be happening with sides at that level. I don't know but I do know that we've been hoovering up prospects from other sides and the Youth cup Winning side was hopefully just the start.
