Seems to be an awful lot of clubs circling for Philogene.

Surprised we've not been able to tie him down to a deal, given how well we are doing and the postive vibes coming from Purslow around getting these kids through into the 1st team.

Give him a long term deal and get him out on loan. Most of the these clubs are just thinking of future sell on profit, not sure he would be walking into their first teams.

Good. Better to play in league 2 than sit on a bench in league 1. He got a bit unlucky at Burton. Injuries at first then when he was fit the manager that signed him had been sacked and the new bloke didn't fancy him.

Birmingham Mail running a report now about Philogene-Bidace. Barcelona and PSG have now joined the chase for him. Zero point in him moving there - if he cant break into our team he's not getting into there's, so will just stunt his progress.

Whilst most of us were enjoying our Friday evening, Aston Villa confirmed more good news on a loan front and announced that Academy graduate Indiana Vassilev had secured himself a second spell out from the club this season and he would now be heading to League Two and Cheltenham Town.
