Can't see a loan to non league being progressive for a 20 year old. He should be playing championship or league 1 football minimum at his age

Again, I can only think because he did so well against Liverpool it's a safety net if we need to recall him - which we couldn't do if he went L1/2 or Champ.

Let him get proper games now, with that caveat, then next season look at L1 or Champ to really bring him on. With some of the teams and players in the National League, the difference between that and L2 probably isn't that great either.

Be interesting to see how he gets on. Some of the tweets, linked in the article above, are very good.

Won't hurt him to see the 'blunk' end of the pyramid, but I am a bit surprised he's had to go non league. Thought a league two side might be keen. Will certainly make him appreciate what he has at Villa and hopefully make him more hungry.

I think we brought him in from norwich in the summer. A striker I think but he's had a bit of an injury hit season. Good to see us tying these lads down.
