Alan Price and Georgie Fame
at Central Gillingham. 60's
Roy Orbison. (twice) Central Hall late 60's early 70's
Everley Brothers. Central Hall 70's
Sadly I was away for the Roy Orbison ones.

The one with Jerry Lee Lewis was one of the best things I have ever seen. Started with ballads during which 2 teddy boys (drinking champagne) kept shouting ‘wheres the rocknroll’ at which Jerry Lee kept acting as if he was annoyed and therefore carried on playing ballads for ages.
He then suddenly flew into full throated pounding rocknroll jumping on the piano, etc as only he could and the place was in uproar.

Still regret not seeing Hendrix, Pink Floyd, The Move and The Nice at Central Hall Chatham - Keith Emerson , later of ELP was in the Nice. I believe Hendrix used to refer to Syd Barrett as Laughing Syd Barrett.

I saw Jimi Hendrix at central hall Chatham. Wayne u must have been the young lad in front of me complaining about the noise.
Then at small party gathering, about 12 of us sitting around. My mate was manager to some bird who had been winning opportunity knocks or new faces whatever for past few weeks , Helen Foster or something like that. she got up to sing her song, then my old man , having had a few pints, thought he was better, got up to sing Beautiful dreamer. Bloody embarrassing
