Your Favourite Alcoholic Drink?

I'm sat here drinking Thatcher's Cider because well, it is Cider O'Clock. There isn't much to talk about, so I thought I'd start a random thread!

As I'm sure many of you already know, mine is Cider, though I do like a glass or two of White Wine sometimes!

What is your favourite alcoholic drink?

Visited this place before the match v Crawley Town:

Oh, and feel free to start random threads on 100% Imps at the moment. We must do all we can to keep this website and the network going during this incredibly tough time!

Real Ale for me. Preferably on the lighter rather than darker scale eg IPA. No one real favourite, but Wainwrights is a good example. I like to try beers from local breweries wherever I am on holiday/away for the day etc
Same here. "Virtuous" from Kirkstall Brewery is just about the best one I've had.
I like a nice Bourbon too.

Dorley's XO rum (the red). Parents brought me a bottle back from their holiday a few years ago and been smitten since. It's matured in old sherry casks which just adds another level of smoothness and flavour. Excellent VFM although it's a bugger to find other than online. Spent a fruitless afternoon in Gibralter last October trying to find some at duty free prices.
Edit - I'm sure there are better drinks out there but I won't pay stupid money for them.

Any Belgium Trappist, in particular, Rochefort 10 which comes in at 11%.
My stock unfortunately is exhausted and the chance of re-supply appear distant at this time.

Other than that, quite partial to Napoleon Mandarine Brandy or a nice bottle of red (French).

I like all sorts.
Got a large collection of single malt whiskies.
Hard to pick a favourite but I'd recommend Talisker (from Skye), Tomatin (south of Inverness on A9), Chivas Regal 18yo (from Strathisla Distillery in Keith, very close to where my family hail from).
A few there ideas there.

Also love my real ales. And as someone said above, i aim for the light/golden ones, like them extra hoppy too.

I also love love love Belgian beers, have even been to a weekend beer festival in Belgium.
Love all the different types they have, especially the deep red fruit beers.

I also have a bottle of Appleton's Rum !

It depends on the mood, a Swedish cider (Rekorderlig or Kopparberg) can be really nice, sometimes a nice IPA or something like Doom Bar. Not really into spirits which means there's more for someone else

Was ales especially the stronger IPAs for me but moved on to sour hipster beer at the moment. Sourer the better, our local bar was delivering so got loads of cans in.

This is a good one: https://www.eebriatrade.com/products/beer/bad-seed-brewery/25095-electric-rain

And this one
https://honestbrew.co.uk/shop/ridgeside-fubarb-rhubarb-custard-sour/ (definitely more of the rhubarb...)

And this is good although a bit too drinkable at 8.8%

Do they sell babycham Devon ( just asking for a friend);)
In all seriousness my favourite drink tends to alter depending on circumstance. I’m very fond of amber or golden ales, some IPA’s, XB,XXB,Tribute,Doom Bar, Abbott and like to try local ales when I’m on holiday or before an away game. I’ve got a couple of local ones(Fiskerton brewery) in the fridge at the moment which I’m enjoying. I sometimes drink lager in the summer as long as it tastes of something (not Fosters,I’d rather go without)I’m also partial to nice soft red wines and dry white ones (more in the summer) and also a nice rhubarb gin
