do we have enough within the ranks to compeat for a top 6 finish
hate it when he brings in and uses other teams youngsters and not our own
he needs to have faith
if he doesnt feel they are good enough why are they spending money and time on them in the first place

We all dream we do, but ... well, I think not. Even a couple I had high hopes for might just be falling at the last hurdle.

Still got massive hopes for Andre Green but that is only if he can stay fit. His record to date is frightening for him I'm sure.

the thing is you never know until you try...............

Depends how you use the youngsters. We ought to be able (hope so!) to keep enough senior players to form a backbone of the squad. But cover can be provided by some of the youngsters, some of the time.

Davis and Green certainly ought to be considered as potential first team regulars, maybe Bree as well. You then have players such as RHM, O'Hare, Lyden who could well appear on the bench and expect to get game time.

The way things are at the club if SB or any other manager set out and got a system going with a young team and stuck with them, i think villa fans would be more understanding and patient then usual.

It would be nice to see a team progressing and growing while the club is in this hole.

If we weren't in the current financial mess, and we found a way to keep Jack and Chester, I'd say that even missing the players who've gone then we could still have a crack at top 6. However, if we lose more players then that's out of the window, in which case so long as we steer clear of relegation we could use this season to bring on the youngsters, without overloading them.

When this World Cup started I didn't give England much of a chance. A group of internationally inexperienced youngsters. Southgate has turned them into a real, competitive threat. It would be great if Bruce could do the same with our youngsters. Stiffen the team with a core of older hands and blend it with the enthusiasm and energy of the young players. Play without fear, (no pun intended), and develop a style they can thrive in.
I know we haven't got a pot to piss in but I'd much rather pay my money to see a vision of the future than watch a bunch of older players bought in for a song or here on a nice final payday loan.

i really do hope they play the young lions and to be honest even if it takes them a few months to get to grips with first team football i think the rawness and togetherness will get them through s long as they are managed well and the fans get right behind then from the start
lets face it if we had have gone up last season it would have been a season of disappointment and a bottom half finish maybe a religation battle again and any money we did get would have soon been waited
