Being 45 mins away from the play offs, thumping the league winners Portsmouth by 4 goals away from home and being solid at home suggests otherwise.
My only criticism of NC was away from home again the lesser teams we didn’t know what to do.

Pre-season we were one of the highest spending clubs in League One - if not THE highest. In fact many rival clubs and their fans said that we'd walk the League as Blackpool have "bought their way to the title".
So what happened? I believe we spent over a million quid for Taylor as an example. Was Bruce to blame? Were they solely his recruitment choices? If so Bruce, you've got a lot to answer for....

Critchley brought in a load of shit too. Critchley was a lucky to hsve been backed to the extent that he was, he was bound to get lucky along the way. Ffs Dave let it go.

Evatt playing Lyons in a back 3 - suicidal. Only took 17mimutes for the team 91/92 to.put 3 past us. The signs were there last Saturday when he and Wed kid were tore apart by the Reading 11.
Simply put, he just isn't goid enough. Not the same player as before his horrific injury unfortunately.
If hes playing a back 3 its Carey RB Horsfall, who is the only player to come out with any credit from both of the last 2 games, and Husband as LB.
The team has been built for 4 4 2, Evatt isn't a mug. Play 352, a formation berated by most fans despite it being our most successful pattern in recent years and then goes to Sadler to say I need players, and ££ in January.
