I for one do think that our fans moan far too much about Yaya Toure - we ALWAYS miss him when he's not in the team.

At the same time, he can be an incredible pain in the arse - both on and off the pitch.

Don't think we'll ever be able to replace him fully though, and I certainly hope when the time comes to do just that that we give him all the respect he deserves - regardless of what his plank of an agent gets up to

Yaya Toure has been the main engine of City's rise, but I feel that the media's witch hunt of the player has had the effect it desired and that is to get the fans to believe it, the fact is that Yaya has a decent game everytime he turns out for City, but unfortunately we are not used to that we are used to him being a dynamo and winning games on his own.

Sadly Yaya cannot perform every game. He is a legend and fans should stop having and go and remember where we were before yaya came here.

I think the problem is that his style moving around the pitch makes him look half-arsed some of the time if you see what I mean.

 
I do R. Why I think the fans really got up their noses was the antics each summer from the agent and himself.

Take Zabaleta, wears the shirt and gives 100% does not moan, gets stuck in and wears the bandages the fans love him and sing his name.

Yaya always wants recognition, he has been brilliant for us, but he does get paid very well, but what a moaner

I have said this on other city sites and yes I have joined FB, (Sorry)

And some sites/pages on there like most city fans are divided on Yaya, but I say if he goes, we will miss him,
OK, he is not mobile as he once was, but he was never the box to box player to begin with in my opinion, more of a spurt and rest type of player, but he can spray the ball better than anyone playing, near passes or 'long passes'
We have Delph, Fernandinho or Fernando to do the running in midfield, but the opposition always has 1 player watching what Yaya is doing if he is in a midfield with any of those players, if he's not on the ball he is a handful as we always try to get him involved somewhere, like on Saturday, we were never in doubt of losing but with Yaya on you got the feeling that we could get more goals, as he added a calmness to the pitch, as the 3rd goal proved, their defence thought he was going to shoot, when he played in A midfielder to play the ball across, and a tap in .....

So I say be careful what you wish for, as it could bite us on the arse.....
