Does he still want to play for us his performance would say otherwise
I thought he would take the mantle as Merlin was injured
When was the last time we had one of his classic lung bursting runs
I can't recall. No doubt someone will prove me wrong with a stat, but he
Is not what he can be at the minute and his flicks and missed passes are
Doing my head in.
I know we have other game changer but it's not happening :doh!:

As we get older Colin, we slow down a bit as each month passes, Pellers no longer relying on Yaya to do box to box runs, letting the younger legs of the Twins do the job, but Yaya is used to working in space and it is getting a bit crowded in there.

Personally I don't think Yaya attitude is any different, but he is not at his best, shot that he normally puts away are just wide straight at the goalie or way wide of the mark.

He is getting dispossessed much more and his passing of late is either under hit or sent by pigeon post and has been picked off at ease.

I feel that this will be Yaya's last season at the club as a player unless he is prepared to take a lesser role which will extend his career at City.

Hard to disagree with any of the above from Colin or Buzz.

He set the bar very high back in 2013/14 and it was always going to be hard to avoid a downwards spiral after that.

Shame he didn't get the recognition he deserved for probably his finest season. Undoubtedly player of the year. 20 plus Premier League goals from a midfielder and what goals they were all of them ! Yet, player of the season went to Suarez despite his disciplinary record. Unbelievable really.

Not just his goals but his assists and all-round domination of the midfield and final third. What a player he was.

Yaya Toure's future with the Ivory Coast has often come up for debate in the past 12-24-months or so with it often thought, if not hinted, the Man City man was retiring from international football.

At times it was even thought he had!

Winning the African Cup of Nations earlier this year seemed the cherry on top of that icing on the cake (we shouldn't mention cake really should we!) with the national side and the 31-year-old had suggested that might be the time to bow out?
