And as I keep saying, Tel and Oderbert will continue to improve, which they are, they'll be different players again next season, both still haven't matured into their bodies, the same is true of Bergval and Gray - all of these players need time to allow their bodies and minds to mature.

So bloody true!

As you I believe we will see 5 different players next season, I remember the days of moaning n groaning regards Modders, the rest is history now, which he is still making (y)

As I keep telling most, it takes different players different periods of adjustments for the PL, there simply is no other league like it for the mad speed, power, and physicality that they encounter.

As many new PL have attested to despite being told and watching it, so many are shocked when they actually encounter it first hand, the odd one-off game can be dealt with but playing at this level of intensity game after game takes some getting used to.

Why we are still surprised by this, I'll never know.

=====This! Also the fact the 'experienced players' that are supposed to support them are either injured or not up to it. Keep going young overall is my call but we need some quality experience as in onfield ability and leadership.

Absolutely this. I notice he tends to take revenge for anyone taking liberties. You watch if someone upends him, the next time he gets the chance he will get them back.

There isnt much too him size wise but he has a good 5 yard burst to get in front of players and he is learning to be strong enough to hold players off.

I have also noticed he is getting professional fouls against him more often which is a sign he is getting past players and into dangerous positions. Once he learns to release the ball quicker this will help as well.

As he settles his game will expand. It's still early days but the signs are already looking good.

Absolutely. He is putting everything on the line to try to push us forward. If some of the others put the effort he is into their game we would not be in trouble.

He may not be enjoying his game at the moment but i bet he is setting up his future with how he is developing. I get hints of Modric as well. He deffo knows how to put a foot in and just needs quality around him to buy him some extra time on the ball.

Alas, he will develop with us and then get a big move and everyone will say we lost another WC player.

I agree with the Modric comparisons Hobo and have felt that way for a while now.

Palace fans are saying it's the biggest waste of money in football history.

I agree with you though, he's not a great player but he got goals for us. In the right system (Ange's) he's a very useful player, and the fact we didn't replace him was a joke.
