WTF is hapoening?

Because I don't want to see the US go the same way. It's ludicrous to conclude that I think two deaths at the hands of ICE are a greater sum of evil than thousands of protesters being executed in Iran.
Ever heard of a trolley problem? You've just set one up but it's irrelevant.
Some people being bad over there doesn't excuse some people being bad over here.
Yes but you really do seem to be brushing of the regime’s threat and intentions a little bit too easily.

There’s no real condemnation I’ve seen coming from the left , certainly not as sustained say as long as the Palestinian issue . That makes the hypocrisy alarming. Is it because it’s within their own borders. Their rules ? Or is it because the left despises the Jewish race and has TDS?

I didn't see you losing your shit about them killing protestors either Toms. Or anyone on the hard right.

You've only ever commented on it to claim that "the left" don't care about it, despite showing no sign of giving a shit yourself.

And then you go and make excuses for firing a missile next to a school and killing over 100 children. Your response: "OOOPS!"
What are you going on about ? It’s a core part of my argument for the overthrow of the regime. I do care about innocent people being killed by their “democratically elected government “ .

I also care about the follies of war. But mistakes regrettably occur in any war. Horrible. Suggest the mad despotic “religious” nutters stop seeking to make their own people human shields .

I don't know- probably because the original deal took 18 months to agree and Iran were no longer willing to trust the USA?

Personally, if I were Iran I would not have gone back to the deal with Trump potentially running again.

The damage had been done in the previous four years anyway, as they enriched uranium far beyond what they had done before and far beyond what they were doing under the deal. No where near a bomb, but miles beyond where they had been before and during the deal
The deal was cancelled in 2018. Trump was out by end of 2019. They got their money and run . Then said no deal. They were enriching behind everyone’s backs and anyone with a modicum of common sense would realise that was at the very least a possibility.

No, you don't.

If you think those people are "on the left" or a right wing government tells you they were, you are incredibly callous and think they got what they deserved. You've made these sentiments.

Around 3,636 people have been killed in the Iran war by US and Israel so far.

That includes 1,701 civilians, of which at least 254 were children

1,830 have been killed in Lebenon- of which a bit over 400 are believed to have been Hezbollah fighters. That means 1400 who were not.

I'm telling you new information here, because you didn't look it up and you never really thought of any of this while championing this needless war.

Estimated deaths by the Iranian regime on its own people range wildly from 6,000 to 33,000. 6,000 are verified, 17,000 more under investigation, and the stretch figure is a little over 30k.

That's awful. If America or Israel were making any effort whatsoever to end that or change the regime, you could make an argument.

But the are not. Having declared regime change was a goal, the next level down of people who committed these atrocities are in charge now and Trump is claiming this is regime change to hide his failure.

I also care about the follies of war. But mistakes regrettably occur in any war. Horrible. Suggest the mad despotic “religious” nutters stop seeking to make their own people human shields .
No, it's fucking simple Toms- don't fire a missile next to a school.

It doesn't really matter if Iran build a military base next to a school. It's their country, they can build wherever they like, and even if it is daring the Americans to attack a base next to a school - America should not do it. Even if you hit the right target you are putting children in danger

Early 2018- so about 16 months into Trump's first term.

There was no money

You are talking about their own income from people buying things they want from Iran, rather than not buying those things from them.

I had to explain how tariffs work, do I need to explain to you what sanctions are?

Yes but you really do seem to be brushing of the regime’s threat and intentions a little bit too easily.
That's just your perception and it is wrong.

'Left = bad' is the lens through which you view everything and it distorts your view beyond what's rational or reasonable. You are immensely partisan so you think anything Obama achieved should be destroyed and anything Trump does that the Democrats object to must be defended. It's crazy.

No I don’t . The Left is just wrong. Some are additionally bitter , entitled and want to take everything hard working people earn.

And my perception is based on the things you passionately comment on and the things you don’t .

Is this your go to attack now together with ITTO’s spelling lessons?

Pathetic. I’ve had to read your either utopian naive or very often wrong analysis on a number of threads. I’ve got so many go to’s it’s unbelievable . Let’s stick on the topic at hand and not use debates on other issues as some sort of quasi justification or implication that I must be wrong on every point I debate on here.

What is your solution for the current Iranian’s regime behaviour? Besides a deal which gave them everything they wanted, whilst they were almost certainly deceitfully enriching away from the inspection sites.

This is absolute poppycock. I don’t wish a premature death on anyone . I’ve never made these sentiments. Indeed I have always said it’s regrettable, awful or tragic. So that is a downright lie which is exactly what I expect from a left winger .

As for championing a war that is also a lie. That suggests I’m in some way happy about it in some way. But if there is a genuine nuclear threat from a despotic, religious regime action has to be taken.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf is a conservative Iranian politician with a military background, who has been the speaker of Iran’s parliament since May 2020.

He led the Iranian delegation in the discussions with the US in Pakistan. Born in 1961, Ghalibaf joined the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in 1980 and became one of its commanders during the Iran-Iraq War.

Ghalibaf is known as Tehran’s longest-serving mayor. He held the post for 12 years from 2005. He is credited for infrastructure projects in the city, but he has also been accused of financial impropriety.

He ran unsuccessfully for president four times, coming fourth in 2005 and second in 2013. He withdrew his candidacy in 2017 before the election and came third in the 2024 early election.

His account on X has remained active recently, despite a government-imposed internet outage across Iran since the start of the war on 28 February which is still ongoing.

From wiki
He is also a pilot, certified to fly certain Airbus aircraft. He began his military career during the Iran–Iraq War in 1980. He became chief commander of the Imam Reza Brigade in 1982 and was chief commander of Nasr Division from 1983 to 1984. After the war, he became Managing-Director of Khatam al-Anbia, an engineering firm controlled by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and was appointed commander of the IRGC Air Force in 1996 by Ali Khamenei. Four years later, he became chief of the Iranian Police Forces after the previous commander was dismissed following the 1999 student protests. He was also appointed Representative of PresidentMohammad Khatami during a campaign to combat smuggling in 2002. In September 2005, he was elected as Tehran's mayor by the City Council of Tehran. He is also a professor at the University of Tehran.[6] As mayor, he was connected to corruption scandals involving the selling of properties in northern Tehran to regime officials. During his mayorship he initated the construction of roads and malls in affluent north Tehran and was criticized for neglecting the poorer south of Tehran.

Ghalibaf is often regarded a perennial candidate in the presidential elections, having stood unsuccessfully for the office four times.[7] He was a candidate in the 2005 presidential election, coming in fourth with 14% of the vote. He was a candidate in the 2013 presidential election but lost to Hassan Rouhani, in second place with 17% (6,077,292) of the votes. He announced his run for a third time in the 2017 election. However, he withdrew on 15 May 2017 in favor of Ebrahim Raisi's candidacy. He was a candidate in the 2024 presidential election, coming in third with 14% of the vote.

In the 2020 Iranian legislative election, the conservative Principlists regained the majority in the legislature,[8] and Ghalibaf was elected as the new Speaker of Iran Parliament.[9] Today Ghalibaf and his family are the owners of multiple luxury apartments in Istanbul. During the 2025–2026 Iranian protests, he called for punishment against protestors whom he described as enemies and terrorists. He was described by Time as having a reputation for sycophancy and corruption.[10]

The USA and Israel have admitted to arming and organising the protests in Iran
Iran cut off Starlink as they were using it to organise the monsters carrying out the violence, as soon as they cut off Starlink the violence stopped
There is only one country who attacks Ambulances, Hospitals and Emergency services and aid agencies and that is Israel. You really think Iranians firebombed Mosques. You really would have to be unhinged to think that.

Funny how the western media are not showing that a Synagogue in Iran, in Tehran has been bombed in the last few days by the USA and Israel and destroyed

Funny how they didn't mention that when the USA and Israel attacked the nuclear facilities in Iran, specifically Isfahan, that thier are 13 Synagogues in that City

Iran are giving the west an absolute lesson in strategic economic warfare and also asymmetric warfare.
The absolute arrogance of the west is being shown up for what it is.
As long as Nuclear Weapons are not used Iran have got this in the bag.

Look at the people doing negotiations in Pakistan recently
All the Iranian delegation have PHD's and most of them have done them in the west.
The Epstein Axis of Evil delegation had The Couch Fucker Maybelline Mascara JD Vance, 2 of Trumps real estate buddies and his son in law
The absolute state of it.

If Yemen lock down the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden shipping lanes like they did a while back when the Houthis used drones on the tankers, and didn't even kill a single human being, it is game set and match

They are holding that back for now
Its one of many strategic cards Iran have

Your mistake is always thinking that anyone who rightly opposes systematic corruption and fascism is 'Left'. Ergo, supporting or at least being an apologist for the above is your go to.

Funny, I never feel as if the left want to take everything I have.

Trump posted this on social media:

Trumps sundowning is entering its terminal phase.
However I don't think he has Dementia I think he has Kuru which is an incurable neurological disease that Cannibals get
We all now know that Trumps Epstein friends were eating babies and drinking their blood so it's not a stretch to think that Trump did as well. I wouldn't be surprised if it is Kuru he's showing a lot of the signs

Anyone see that Yemen/Houthis are about to close the Red Sea shipping lane The Bab al-Mandab Strait?
Its coming, total absolute control of the Oil and Oil barrel prices are going to shoot up over $200 and quickly go to somewhere near $300.
Are you ready because if it happens it could be carnage, total world wide economic collapse
Shouldn't have fucked about with the Iranians
