I went for Shearer on the 'player from the past I'd like to have now' question, although probably should have gone for Gazza. Shearer was almost guaranteed to score every match though.

I went for Beckham from the list of players. I love Beckham.

I guessed McDonalds and CocaCola from the sponsors. Obviously the main culprits of childhood obesity would be sponsoring the biggest sporting event on the planet.

Same for me, although I was tempted to go for Scholes. Assuming he was played in his correct position and not stuck out on the wing.
