Indeed, but can we be surprised at the FAs attitude towards the women's game. In the men's game they have a complete Southern bias, coupled with a fetish for all things Man Utd.
For the most part I enjoyed the Women's World Cup, but I do fear for the game in England as it is too financially dependant no the support of Premiership clubs.
