Heading this as an ambassador is Stephanie Ward who is the ex of Danny Simpson who was abused by him.
There are still 2 women a week dieing from domestic abuse, leaving families, children, horror, pain and witnesses of people who can never forget. More children messed up for the future too. There is 43 women dead already this year through D.A.
Unless you have been in it is hard to explain why a person stays. This is about breaking down stereo typing of it. The majority are stunned to know I dealt with it for 16 years before finally fleeing with the then children, who are now grown happy youngsters. The chains can be broken. I am living proof of that
The problem with domestic abuse is it is not seen in the same context of the likes of the Sunderland player etc. These guys like Danny Simpson are still hero worshipped. he punishment the majority of the time does not fit the crime.
