There is no such thing as a victimless crime. These people think, oh well they will be insured, is not the point. The hurt, fear and emotional violation you feel is too hard to describe in words.
It has been many years, thank God since it last happened to me. (3 times in my life. The last being in 2002) yet the feeling of your home being dirty, unsafe and full of fear is horrendous

They should do a tv show, like Bait Car, Bait House, but instead of just getting arrested it should turn into a horror show for them, an inescapable house full of bear traps and shotguns attached to trip wires and such like. Something resembling the Saw films, but worse. :4:

I know a burglar who has spent most of life in prisons, he was born a mistake from a woman that slept around. Given up at birth to a guy that was a dating the women at that time. She soon left and it was just the guy and the lad. He was left to own devices and rarely went to school, eventually he was taken away by the social services and adopted out to a couple of rich people that physically & mentally abused him. It went unnoticed and unseen because the adopted parents were like a pillar to society - they could do no wrong. The lad grew up extremely gullible, he would do anything for a friend, take drugs, rob things - just anything to be loved by any crowd. He robbed loads of houses before getting sent down for armed robbery. He is out now but has no life, never did have one. A lost soul from the start - shame really because he is a nice guy and has a good heart.
