Just to say I've copied these from a poster called HBB on ltlf forum. Hope they don't mind

Forest are no great shakes at all having failed to beat us in either encounter at the City Ground since they came up and also contriving to lose to a team managed by Steve Davis - we haven't actually lost at their place since Saunders was our manager - but if we defend (collectively and individually) like we did against Chelsea then we will lose.

(1-0) f***ing Wood again... more bullshit defending

(1-1) What a strike from Bellegarde let’s go

We look so wide open at the moment. Forrest look threatening on every attack.

We'll need to score a few times today because Forest look like scoring every time they get the ball with our defence.

Forest actually look pretty decent going forward.

Wood is going to have a hat-trick if we don't sharpen up defensively. All over the place.

Forest have started the season well and they now have a decent team on paper.

We also have a decent team on paper, it's on grass we seem to be struggling with

Forest just able to cross the ball at will from both left and right side. We're shockingly bad again.

Can see why Forest have signed Ward-Prowse, their free kicks have been awful

Forest well on top since our goal

Nuno’s team showing you don’t need to be Portuguese to fall over at every opportunity…

Not looking forward to the inevitable Nuno all guns blazing start to the second half. Coupled with our traditional sleepiness, this game could be gone by the 50th minute.

This forest team are a bunch of cheats, I'm disappointed in nuno, far to howesque for my liking.

No way are we winning this

Thank **** for that - Mario’s ok and their goal disallowed

This second half has been absolutely toss. Midtable championship level toss.

A point it is. Probably fair result.

I've only seen our goal, how has Nuno got Forest looking?

They were as bad as they looked on paper. They also could've scored four.

Very much like a Nuno team- solid and compact, and dangerous on the break.

Lucky to get a point - but I'll take it

Good point, not sure we deserved it but at least we didn’t lose.

I’ll take a point. At least Wood or MGW didn’t score the winner

Quite enjoyable. Lots of kick and rush. No control from either side. Quality from both sides - zero.

2 poor teams and we tried everything we could to lose that but even forest couldn't manage it

I can't agree. Forest look pretty good and we did alright ourselves. Neither are poor teams.

Both of us are miles better than at least four other clubs. The really poor teams are blindingly obvious. We're bunched with seven or eight other clubs in what will be a packed mid table.

There were certainly moments of quality from MGW and Cuhna. Forest have spent a hell of a lot of money over 3 seasons and will be fine this year.

Very important point. I thought we would throw that away toward the end we were under immense pressure

Nah, you’re all good, buddy.

Copy away.

Although I have only seen highlights, this assessment seems consistent with what others have put on here. Forest are mid- table at the moment, have beaten the poor team that they have played and drawn with the midtable teams that they have played (including, encouragingly, second- string drawing against Newcastle United).
Nottingham Forest will not be relegated. Neither will they qualify for Europe, or win a domestic trophy. This is where we are for a bit.

My only disagreement is the "draw with midtable teams" being the aim for other midtable teams. Actually at home, you need to be taking some wins amongst the draws against similar opposition. I think we all expect we could lose a couple of away games against a Bournemouth, Wolves, Crystal Palace, Fulham etc and therefore we need to take some wins in the home fixtures to come out even.

Nuno really needs to start winning some of these home games.

A couple of home draws aren't that bad when they're either side of an away win at Southampton, but if we lose the next two at Liverpool and Brighton which is likely, then they start to look costly.

I would be very disappointed to lose to those teams away now

And hope to win one of them

Definitely 4 points to be taken from those 4 away games one way or another

We won't be an easy game for any of them Imo

These are the kind of games CHO will come good in when teams are more open against us I think

Exactly where we all hoped to get at this stage

That being the case no point us getting too frustrated when we drop points we could have won

As that's EXACTLY what mid table teams do all the time and why they are mid table

In mid table you win some, lose some and draw some against all levels of teams home and away

You aren't good enough to always beat similar level teams at home

But you are also capable of taking lots of points from the better teams

Just imagine what it's like at the top of the league where a win that becomes a draw could cost winning the EPL or qualifying for Champions League etc

This is exactly the kind of season I'm hoping for.
EM stays happily away from social media.
We're on last every week on MoTD
No-one thinks about us.
We finish nicely in that group between 9th and 14th without any danger.

Yes, I agree with your win some, lose some approach being where it should be, and of course one win and a loss is better than two draws. What I was highlighting was that if you look at who Forest have played, they are midtable teams and Forest have been equal to them.

Wouldn't swap squads with all 3 EPL teams we've played

Simple as that

We've got better and more exciting players
