'City are going to see title through now'
FT: Wolves 1-5 Man City

Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

He was brilliant. Kevin de Bruyne was cunning.

Manchester City were far too good. They are going to see [the title] through now.

This was a display of dominance, of real authority. They were so good in all areas of the pitch.

It looks like there is no stopping them.

'Display of Premier League champions'
FT: Wolves 1-5 Man City

Chris Sutton
Former Premier League striker on BBC Radio 5 Live

I think the display by Manchester City tonight was a display of Premier League champions.

I thought it was a tough task before the game but 5-1 was really emphatic.

Disappointed with the Champions League, they are saying the Premier League is ours with that performance.

Kevin de Bruyne on fire at the minute - right foot, left foot.

He’s a joy to watch. Amazing performance from him.

He gets better and better.

'De Bruyne is outstanding'
FT: Wolves 1-5 Man City

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, speaking to Sky Sports: "We played really well in this stadium we know how difficult it is. Three points, rest and then West Ham."

On Kevin de Bruyne: "He has played the last two or three months especially in the Premier League outstanding, and in the Champions League as well. He has been our key man in this part of the season.

"It is not just what he creates and the goals and everything. He helps us a lot. I am happy because Kevin is so generous and always thinking the best for the team but this year is also the most prolific for him.

"Always we concede a goal when we don't deserve. In that moment we were in control. We concede goal but after we found a goal quickly and that helped us a lot."

On Haaland signing: "It is a decision for the club to make a good sign for the future. He can come for many, many years hopefully and I am pretty sure he will adapt perfectly to our team but for next season.

"The players make you a good manager. He is an incredible young talent, perfect age. I am pretty sure we are going to help him settle as best possible."

'Unstoppable, brilliant, awesome, outstanding, perfect De Bruyne'

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola, asked by BBC Sport if Kevin de Bruyne produced one of the best midfield displays: "Absolutely.

"He made quite often in the last this season especially in the second half he has made similar displays today but today he scored four goals. Unstoppable, brilliant, awesome outstanding, perfect.

"He had the ability to create the special things.

"Always we push him to say he is incredible player, generous with assists but he has to score goals and this season is the most prolific he has had since we are together."

Improved goal difference to Liverpool, is that important? "The target is next game. If we win the next two games we will be champions. Now recover the players and play a final, the final for us is against West Ham."

Remarkable group, isn't it? "One of the best I have ever had."

'With that De Bruyne performance you can't do anything'
FT: Wolves 1-5 Man City

Wolves first-team coach Carlos Cachada: "When you have players like De Bruyne, who can always change the game, you can have a strategy but when it comes to players like this they can score four goals and finish the game.

"With that performance we can do nothing about it.

"We had a good response to the first goal. Suddenly they scored two goals quite quickly and we lost a bit. We tried all the time to come back, we can't so this is the final result.

"We look game by game. We will try to collect as much points as we can. We have six points to fight for.

"We always tried to be a threat to the other team, even when we were losing."
