We probably need to start a winter transfer rumour thread now but we are one of a number of teams being linked with Notts County striker Ruben Rodrigues.
18 goals in 48 National League starts and bagged the winner at the Cods yesterday
 
The 72 website are suggesting we are going to recall Archibald either to play him or sell him. Apparently there is a queue of clubs

Interesting to see if theo comes back. Ssems to have done well. Depends what the step is like from 2 to 1
 
We couldn't match the transfer fees or wage demands of some targets last summer just hope we are not in the same situation come January . Expect the usual suspects will be going for it again financially to maintain their promotion pushes, maybe loans will be our best realistic option.
 
Really looking forward to January.
Summer transfer window wasn't the greatest so we have to make up for that now.
We need more pace,more quality and more end product up front and hopefully we can get that. One way or another.

Boosted Notts' attendance. They seem to have misplaced 8,000 fans somewhere since Saturday.

Rogrigues is Portuguese, aged 25; previously scored 12 in 33 league games for Den Bosch in the Dutch second tier.
 
Appleton says about bringing in two or three forwards but what about the five extra centre backs we need
