I'm just off to put my big coat on and go and stand outside to see if I can see Jupiter and Saturn appear to merge.

Just had a look outside - too cloudy to see any planets/stars at the moment
Yes, couldn't see a thing - well, I tell a lie, as I was having another look who should ride up the street on his sleigh but Santa! So I didn't put shoes and coat on for nothing!

Only saw the clouds tonight - not great visiblity
I heard on the radio that we would probably be able to see this for around five days so better luck tonight
