Will players be made available for transfer in January???

Let's face it Bonner will want to do business. But why would other teams at our level pick our players as targets ?
I can see Comper and Brad telling him straight he needs to work with existing budgets.
Giving players like Gbode and Webster extended opportunities might be a way forward. If we can get a few players fully fit they could be like new signings after all there is nobody like Andrews ,Rowe and Dack in the squad.
Personally I think I'd like to see Dack used as a second forward a fox in the box type .I really doubt we will get a better potential goal scorer in mid season.
If players leave it will be their choice we haven't got a Steve Evans type manager so I can't see anyone training with the youth team etc.
If we seriously think we want to take our chances with a big mid season clear out Brad better have deep pockets.
Personally I think another season at this level is likely to be necessary rebuild around our achievers.Give youth a chance this season with a view to further development. Then clear out the deadwood in May .

Thought Nevitt played well and very harsh for people who want shot of him, seeing he really has only come back from injury
I would bin Johnny Williams and I guess Lapislie and Hawkins will be pushed out.
Think Nolan, will come good. But as others have mentioned, I don’t know how we have managed to bring in Lapislie, Nolan and Nevitt and completely reverse what they were good at. Nevitt as I said was injured. But maybe we don’t ever play them where they played previously

Bearing in mind January is difficult to shift and bring in players I would be happy to see Hawkins, Lapslie, Dieng and Wakeling leave the club.

For me, it's a bit early to judge and condemn Nevitt, Andrews, and Rowe as we haven't seen enough of them but I do hope they will come good.
Romeo Hutton, Jonny Williams and Jack Nolan are on their last chances with me and need to be more effective in games, which they all have the ability to do.
The game on Saturday proved that some are worth keeping faith with. Max Clark being a prime example - he had a great game.

The one that seems to get a free pass in criticism terms is Conor Masterson. On his day a great defender but blimey is he sloppy with his passing at times. Max Ehmer would get the shit ripped out of him if he made those errors.

The fact is that a lot is down to Mark Bonner - he's the manager and he needs to get the best out of his players and the team.
He rightly made changes on Saturday and they paid off - hopefully it's kicked the team up the arse and things will start to improve. But will he pick the same team Saturday and try to get a settled 11 going?

We all hope that he succeeds.

January is a terrible time to do business. I can see no more than 1 or 2 moved on if any.
Inward, I can't see Bonner having a lot of room to move.
Summer will be much more interesting

It’s not ideal, but we do need to remember when the Galinson’s first arrived the investment in to the team saw us secure league status when we were on course to finish with record low points and goals scored. If they hadn’t have done that (or not invested in the club at all) I dread to think what might have happened.

Last January’s business was dreadful though.

He needs a run of games, I too think criticism is harsh. He’s a league two striker as you say who has returned from injury, he’s missed one or two chances but imo we need to create more for him, if you only get one chance a game his conversion rate is going to be low especially if your struggling for form. We can’t expect our strikers to score regularly if they are not getting regular service.

Was interesting Lapslie wasn’t in the squad on Saturday. Is he injured? Or just being prepared to be moved on in January?

I was chatting to someone at the Bromley match purportedly in the know, who said something like this in that Dack had a deal of convenience with us on basically peanuts unless he plays as he earns a lot from whatever he and his missus, whoever she is, do on Social Media.
I expect they have an onlyfans account. For a 25 quid a month standard subscription you can watch them rutting in all manner of places. The premium subscription means you can suggest new places for their bonking.

I’ve suggested Brad bends his Mrs over WX’s seat in the Rainham end for their next video. I’ll post on here when it goes live. 👍

Nobody will be pushed out.
Wakeling may well go elsewhere on loan for match time.
We might bring in a loan replacement up front.
Most of the players who have hardly featured yet will be like new signings.
The second half of the season should be better than the first.

Absolutely. Any significant additions in January are likely to be loans. If Dack and Rowe gain full fitness they'll make a big difference. Nowt wrong with Nevit, bags of potential, could be excellent with the right strike partner.

If we do get a couple of new faces in in January then we all need to be very restrained in our excitement, whoever they are this time round.
Some players arrive in the Bermuda triangle of Medway from the M25 and their previous sparkling form seems to evaporate.
'Looks good on paper' means eff all until they've looked good on the pitch.

Just not picked in the squad. Would be allowed leave in Jan but wages may be an issue and may stick around until the Summer.

I am not sure how Lapslie would have caught the eye of anyone else, due to his pretty restricted playing time.

I also doubt he was a scapegoat for the Harrogate game as he only played the last 20 minutes.

Maybe he has another niggle and if they wanted to find space on the bench for Dack and Rowe, he was sacrificed along with Wyllie and E Williams.

Agree with all that bar the first sentence.

I think Hawkins will be strongly encouraged to agree a deal elsewhere and we will see a mutual termination.

Possibly encouraged Mark, as a couple of others might be, but nobody will be pushed out.
It’s not Bonner’s style, unlike a few previous managers.

it’s a squad game at the end of the day I doubt any will actually go unless a replacenfnt is sourced especially with our injury record and most likely on loan .

Key point now is we actually have some semblance of a fully fit squad or will be close to it shortly .
