Will City dominate the Premier League for decades?

If Pep stays for ten years, as has been mooted, then his legacy will endure for at least another decade (if our management remain as professional as they have been so far). So yes, I think we will be the team to beat for 'decades'.

Good, isn't it?

What we need is another pep, when Pep1 goes, we need to keep the philiosphy of the team, but most important is identifying the right players to bring in, as pep says, he looks for a player he can improve.

I would love Pep to stay as long as he wants

Presumably also depends on what other clubs do - Arsenal are a bit of a sleeping giant, rags won't be useless for ever and Liverpool might just get their defence sorted and a decent 'keeper in. Aside from us this has been a poor PL campaign.

Agreed, but we know what happened to the rags when they tried to replicate Whisky-face when he went by bringing in the Chosen One (Scottish/been at the same club for donkeys years- tick).
If, when the time has to come, I hope the new man can be someone who is/has worked with Pep.

I recall a thread on here a few years ago debating who would replace Kipling in our midfield and the opinion pretty much started and ended with Pogba since he would have appeared the most like for like replacement. Perhaps a different yet no less effective style is what the next manager will bring - could be Veira with VK4 as stand in. Or Arteta. Who knows...

As soon as Pep took control we heard no more about the Haircut, he must have known something about his flawed character. So glad we dodged him and his barber.

Pogba would have been a better player under Pep, but not everything is rosy in Stretford at the moment.

Not sure Buzz.
The rumour brigade says that he is a spoiled lad who wants things his way all the time so the merino took him to task.
I think Pep would have done much the same although with a bit more tact I would imagine.

Yes,you could well do,but I reckon Burnley will overtake you in the next few years .. :010:

Greetings Alf, its like old times :028:

You boys as in Burnley are going very well this season. Wonder how long it can last? :039:

Alf good to hear from you, Burnley are doing OK, this season and that is good news. It would also be good if Burnley could be challenging for places in the top 4, I personally think it makes for a better league.

However if you get too big, the bully boys of United, Liverpool , Chelsea and Arsenal will be out to stop you like they did with us. You read it here first

Alreet Buzz, hope you are well. I think next season it will be back to staving off relegation again for us.. This season has been a wonderful bonus for all Clarets , a top ten finish would be great.. :026:

Best of luck that doesn’t happen Alf.
Be good to see you lads hanging around in the top ten trying to manage a run in Europe.

I don't think so, if you can keep hold of your manager, you will become used to getting more wins than losses.
