Wilder's future

Pitsmoor Pillock has himself as a major Pig celebrity on X. Never seen such a load of b/shit what he puts out and Pigidiots lap it up. Sad little pathetic twohat.
Wasn't their no.1 fan was some fat twat from Wolverhampton. Has he been rendered down for dripping..?

Saw Chris last week walking around Rother Valley lakes. He looked well and was stopping to talk to people. Overall he did a lot for this club. He will always be appreciated by the fan base. Hopefully we go one better this season but that in no way is meant as any disrespect to Wilder.

Glad to hear he seemed well, when you saw him.

I wonder if he'll take a break, now, or go straight into managing another club? Interesting to see Rod Currie say that he's been linked with Leicester.

People will look back fondly on Wilder's time when any identity we have is ripped out without even getting the success to justify it.

But oooooh...... shiny foreign players. Yummy.

The thing is, they want the identity ripped out. Well, at least on S2, they do. That's why many of them wanted Wilder gone - they couldn't stand that he's a Blade. "No more Bladey Bladeness".

I find it very odd. I've never before come across a set of football supporters who think that the biggest sin their fellow supporters can commit, is to appreciate and love their own club. They just want to rip it all to pieces. It's bizarre, like a perverse form of self-loathing.

What I can't understand is, if they despise everything about Sheffield United so much that they want to turn us into a completely different club, why not just go and support a completely different club? Why would anyone continue to support a club that they evidently loathe? As I say, very, very odd.

They are all raving communists, which explains it nicely...

I've never known a football forum - a fucking football forum - captured by such people to such an extent.

They are fetishists for all things foreign and international. They loathe all things local, even if they might like Andre Brooks...

Wilder was finished for them as soon as he said 'lefties' in the Leicester interview. It's poorly disguised.

Disregard that we've been more successful than most similar clubs recently. What really matters is 'dismantling' and becoming as modern and generic as possible - no more unease then. Finishing 10th with a multi national maximum Brown squad is better than guaranteed top 4 with a predominantly British squad.

Must be why I never go on there even to read 🫤
I've never posted on theer and don't read owt on theer either,i just can't be arsed to read it.I'm a BIG WILDER and always will appreciate what he's done as boss of the BLADES,that dunt mean i don't think he never made mistakes cos he did but there aint been a manager that aint made mistakes even Sausage Rohl has made em probably his biggest was joinin the shit show at shitsborough. UTB

I don’t think it will do us or selles any good if he takes the Leicester job as it will increase the scrutiny and comparisons, selles is up against it anyway without the extra pressure

There are some good posters and good people on S24, some who I know personally. I think it’d be wrong to tar everybody with the same brush on there or on any forum…well except for Porktalk.
I’ve known foxy and Linz for nearly 20yrs and sat with them on fans forums with the club them representing S24 me bladesmad they’re lovely people but their forum isn’t for me,quite a few jumped ship from bladesmad when we decided to move home so have met some of those as well still speak to em when I see at matches good people then there’s others 🫤

I’m not in X and don’t want to join , any work around to read the threads?
You should be able to view most posts on X even if you’re not a member BB. You might have to go through the accept cookie ritual and close the sign in box, but unless they've specifically been restricted, all public X posts are viewable. Same goes for Instagram links like the one I’ve just posted on Shouldn’t Laugh. You can’t view Facebook posts though without being a member.

I agree that there are some good posters on S2 - that's the reason I still go on there. What I've found recently, though, is that the decent posters are increasingly being shouted down by the others, every time they try to start a reasonable discussion.

For example, I made a perfectly reasonable post the other day, agreeing with someone else's perfectly reasonable post about the direction the club seems to be going, following Wilder's departure. Within minutes I was rounded on by one of the posters who seem to spend all day on there closing down discussion, and told to shut up discussing Wilder (which is not what I was doing, but I committed the crime of mentioning his name in a post), that I wasn't entitled to express my opinion about the club's direction on that forum unless I was in total agreement with what the owners are doing, and to stop posting if I didn't agree with it. I have seen similar happen to other posters, too.

Contrast that to here, where people recognise that everyone is entitled to express their opinion to the extent that, "It's all abaht opinions" has become a catchphrase. People disagree and argue with each other over contrasting opinions on here like they do on most forums, but nobody tries to shut down other people's right to express an opinion, just because it's an opinion they don't like.

We're just like brothers. Fight like cat and dog, but we sit at the same table to have our tea.

Everybody is as entitled to be wrong on here as the next person as we prove daily 🤷‍♂️

Censoring and shutting down any sort of dissent is a natural communist impulse so it shouldn't be a surprise you get that in abundance on there.

We've had these sensitive, sad pathetic bastards for years, not only on S2. At any time it seems a small number with nothing better to do appoint themselves as the unofficial gatekeepers and form a clique. They tend to be 60 odd year old accountants. Loyal little soldiers who are sure to be offered a place on the SUFC board any day now.
